Game Concept
This first person adventure, puzzle game is about a young boy that is trying to take back his gameboy from his parents room after it was taken from him by his mother. The player is required to sneak passed the parents and gain keys to get into the parents room. Once the player gets the gameboy the game will end and display a completion message.
Project Purpose
This project was developed for the game group project 3 module. We were required to come up with a concept and develop the game using direct X to hard code everything within the game. Prior to starting development of the game , me and my team created a UML diagram, design documents and a project time line that we followed to make sure everything regarding developments was on track.
Responsibilities
For this project, I was responsible for the NPC and displaying models for the kitchen. There were two NPCs within the project, one was the mother and the other one was the farther. I had to code the movement of the NPCs and make them patrol a certain area. Also I had to code the placements of each model for the kitchen.
