Personal Statement

Highly skilled Graduate from the University of Westminster with a BSc computer games development (First Class Honours) degree. The 3 years at university enabled for more improved communication, team building, time management & problem solving skills. It had also given opportunities for taking part in multiple competitions such as Games Jams, one of which my team and I won a 5 thousand cash prize for moving on to the final stages of the Ukie game jam.

Work History:

Premier- ITech: IT Engineer 06/2016 to Current                                                               

Duties:

  • Dismantling previous user desktop setups that are being relocated, also a recording of each kit by making documentations for the desks that need to be relocated was required.

  • Working closely with other team members to plan, design and develop robust solutions in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring our clients for quality assurance was main priority and also to see if the users needed any help or support with their IT equipment.  

 

KidZania- Westfield – Photographer 06/2016 

Duties:

  • Taking and Editing photographs of establishments within KidZania and of the customers.

  • Managing the cash machines and making sure equipment were in correct positions throughout the store.

  • Responsible for the maintaining and replenishing stock.

  • Dealing with customer needs, complaints and feedback.

  • Also responsible for customer safety during Fire drill events and in case of a real emergency.

 

Blockbusters – West London Sales Assistant 09/2013 

Duties:

  • My responsibilities were assisting customers with their inquiries, making sure that customer satisfaction was always high and also replenishing the shelves.

  • Maintenance of the shop was a key part that was required. Keeping good ambiance throughout the shop was very important and making the customers feel comfortable every time they came in the store.

  • Also had the responsibility of keeping the stock room looking organised and tidy for fellow employees and making sure it complied with the health and safety regulations and to make it easier for the staff to locate different items.

 

Hobbies & Interests

Playing games: Video games give me a boost in my creativity and allows me to come up with my own ideas to develop. Exploring different worlds within video games enables me to see life though different characters point of views, this gives me a different perspective on how to view the real world.

Gym: Enjoy keeping fit and healthy by going to the gym allows me to start the day off right.

 

Programming video games and applications: This is another activity that I strongly enjoy doing in my free time. It allows me to be as creative as I can and takes me out of my comfort zone. Programming also enables me to improve my quality of work.
